Project Presentation - Seating System

Seating System

A seat frame assembly line combines precise assembly with automatic transplanting, followed by key fastening processes such as tightening, riveting, and pressure riveting. Press-fitting and welding strengthen the structure, while final EOL and NHV vibration tests ensure the seat frame meets quality and performance standards.

Seat Cover

The seat cover forms the outer surface of the seat, providing comfort, protection, and aesthetic appeal. It is carefully shaped and stitched to fit the seat foam and frame while offering durability and wear resistance during daily use.

Seat Motor Assembly

The seat motor assembly is an electromechanical unit that drives seat adjustments such as forward–backward movement, height control, or recline angle. It integrates motors, gears, and sensors to ensure smooth, precise, and reliable positioning for user comfort.

Seat Rails

Seat rails act as the guiding and supporting structure that allows the seat to slide horizontally. They ensure stable movement, carry the load of the seat and passenger, and work in coordination with the motor assembly for secure, controlled seat adjustment.

Seat Motor Rotor

The motor rotor is the rotating component inside the seat adjustment motor. It converts electrical energy into mechanical motion, driving the gear mechanisms that move the seat. Its performance directly influences the motor’s power, speed, and efficiency.

Whole Chair

The whole chair represents the complete seating system, including the frame, foam, cover, rails, motors, and all functional components. It is designed to provide ergonomic support, comfort, safety, and long-term durability for the vehicle passenger.

Recliner

The recliner mechanism controls the angle of the seatback, allowing smooth adjustment and locking at various positions. It combines gears, levers, or motorized systems to deliver both comfort and safety by maintaining secure backrest positioning.
