Project Presentation - Passive Safety Systems
SAFETY SYSTEM
A seat belt assembly line for passive safety systems begins with component assembly, oiling, and pressure riveting to ensure smooth operation and secure connections. This is followed by precise screwing, press-fitting, and tightening steps to reinforce durability. Additional processes such as press-fitting, strapping, and buckle installation complete the mechanism. The line concludes with comprehensive functional testing to guarantee reliability and safety performance.

Airbag
An airbag is a crucial safety device designed to inflate instantly during a collision, providing a soft cushion that protects passengers from severe impact. It helps reduce head, neck, and chest injuries by absorbing crash forces.
Safety Belt
The safety belt securely restrains occupants during sudden stops or crashes, preventing excessive body movement. It works with other safety systems to keep passengers in the safest position, greatly reducing injury risk.
Gas Generators
Gas generators supply the rapid inflation gas required for airbags. When triggered, they produce a controlled chemical reaction that releases gas within milliseconds, ensuring the airbag deploys quickly and efficiently.
Steering Wheel
The steering wheel not only controls vehicle direction but also integrates essential safety components like the driver airbag. Its ergonomic design ensures comfort while housing safety features that activate during crashes.
Airbag Detonator
The airbag detonator initiates the deployment sequence by triggering the gas generator when a collision is detected. It operates with precision and speed, ensuring the airbag inflates at the exact moment of impact.
Detonator Cavity
The detonator cavity securely houses the airbag detonator and ensures stable alignment for accurate activation. Its robust design protects internal components and guarantees consistent, reliable airbag deployment.
